ReplyDeleteJuan Martin Del Potro won the first medal for Argentina in olympics games of 2012. He played with Djokovic for the bronze medal and he won. He carried with proud the argentinian flag up to the podium. Furthermore he made history with the match that he played with federer because it was the longest match in Olympic history, the match lasted 4 hours and 26 minutes.
ReplyDeleteHere I leave a link of him, where we can find what he said after he won the medal.

It was a special moment for us Argentinians, undoubtedly! The thing I value most is Del Potro's resilence after such a match with Federer; the fact that he was able to overcome his sadness and tiredness; we have to learn this from him, a genious!!!
DeleteI would like to mention in this opportunity to Gonzalo Telechea. I think he had to overcome a difficult moment in his life but he didnt give up and he could fulfill his dream that was participate in Olympic games. He finished the competition in 38ยบ place and he could he could improve the time in which he had classified. I think that is very important that Gonzalo Telechea can represent our province and country because he never gave up and the most important thing he taught me is that when we have a dream we must give all of us to fulfill.
ReplyDeleteHope it like my opinion, See you.
Fernanda

ReplyDeleteArgentina was another of the Latin American countries to win gold in London thanks to Sebastian Crismanich in taekwondo.
ReplyDeleteIn total, the delegation of Argentina won four medals, one of them the silver of the “Leonas” in field hockey and the hard-worked bronze from Juan Martin del Potro in tennis.
This contribution can be valuable.
The incredible cabal that led to gold.
Believe or burst, that is the question. Olympic coach Gabriel Taraburelli revealed an incredible story that would have helped to achieve the taekwondo Sebastian Crismanich crowned with the gold medal at the Olympic Games in London.
According to the account of the coaching staff, before traveling to Europe printed a photo of each of the rivals, wrote their names on a sheet, put everything in a tupperware with a stone and sent to the freezer. Conduct that had already practiced in recent Pan American Games, when Crismanich also won gold.
But that's not all. Taraburelli told were written the names of rivals as they wanted to compete with Argentina and, as claimed, he as they had scored.
I hope you like it.Leandro Frias.
