ReplyDeleteHi everybody ! I would like to share with you this vey interesting informatin about « Agustín Gnecco Museum” It is situated in Avenida Rawson, Capital. The museum exhibits machines that were used in the middle of the XIX century to produce wine. We can see photographs and the materials that people used to built the city (before the earthquake). Also, there are a lot of tools and things that people used to work hundreds of years ago. The museum exhibits utensils of the kitchen, such as plates, knifes, spoons and glasses, taht were made of silver. If you visit it, you are going to see the different clothes and accesories that women and men wore in the XIX century. There are instruments that people used to play, too. If you want to konw more about Domingo F. Sarmiento, this museum is a very good option, because, there are some of the books that he wrote, on of the first edition of “El Zonda Newspaper”, magazines and some of the clothes he wore when he was governor of San Juan.

DeleteExcellent job Luciana!!! Your description of the museum is really inviting!!
As regards the picture you want to add, what you can do is find a picture in google images, copy the address it has in the bar, and paste it here. Your classmates should go to that link in order to see the picture. In the comments it's impossible to post images or videos, we can only share links. Try that!
Here there are some links where you can see photographs of the museum! I hope you can visit the page! See you soon!http://www.sanjuanalmundo.com/banco_de_fotos/pag_foto.php?foto=0022CIU001

Hi everybody! Well, actually I have never visited a museum, but I was looking for some and I read about THE URBAN MEMORY here in San Juan, it really interested me because there, there are testimonies of prehistoric people, photographs of San Juan's city before the 1944 earthquake and also an earthquake simulator, which I think it`s rally interesting, and an experience for that people who want to feel what people at that time of horror felt.

Hi Guys! well I was searching in the internet for some museums and I found one that really got my atention. the British Museum in London,is considerated the largest museum in the UK. Here you will find no less than 7 million antiques, which are visited by 5 million people a year, making it one of the most visited museums worldwide. Also worth noting that this is one of the oldest museums in the world as it dates from 1759. One section is the most prominent of Ancient Egypt.

ReplyDeleteHi everyone!! I am very interested to learn about space so I think that "Space Center Houstonr" is amazing because you can personally experience the thrill of launching into space like a real astronaut. It's not just a movie; it's the thrill of personally feeling the launch into space -- from the rocket boosters to the billowing exhaust. What have visitors said about their trips? "It's like IMAX in 10D!". After docking at the International Space Station, guests enter the Blastoff Theater for an update on current shuttle missions, as well as details on the exploration of Mars. The space program truly comes alive in the Mission Status Center, where Mission Briefing Officers provide live updates on current space flights and astronaut training activities. At any given time, they may look behind-the-scenes at Johnson Space Center (JSC) and other NASA facilities around the country to see astronauts train or see a shuttle launch via satellite link from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. During Missions, Mission Status Center shares communication between JSC's Mission Control and the astronauts orbiting on board the shuttle.
ReplyDeleteI think that visit "Space Center Houstonr" is important because you can learn about space travel and the discovery about life and natural resources in others planets

Hi everyone! I would like to visit the Louvre museum in Paris because i think that it's a great museum and i really like it. In this museum we can see the famous paint of Leonardo Da vinci "The Gioconda or Mona Lisa" and we can see the famous sculpture "Venus de Milo". The Louvre has one of the most important art galleries in Europe and the world. It also includes an extensive collection of works from ancient Egypt.
