    1. The old managers are Monsieur Poligny and Monsieur Debienne. The new are Monsieur Richard and Monsieur Moncharmin.
    2. Is there really a phantom in the opera house?
    3.Gaston Leroux
    4. Gaston Leroux was born in Paris in 1868. In his own time he was a celebrated journalist, an international adventurer ad one of the most popular writers of mysteries and horror stories in the whole world. From a Young age he wanted to bécame a writer, he was an excellent student who wrote poetry and short stories for his own pleasure.His father decided that his son should be a lawyer , so, he bagan to worked as one.
    5.After his father's death, he gave up the law and had a wild time, enojoying pleasures offered by late-nineteenth-century Paris.He lost all of the fortune his father had left within a year. In 1890 he got a job on the newspaper L'Echo de Paris and became a full-time journalist.
    6. Leroux's first big success,The Mystery of the Yellow Room, came out in 1907.
    7.He wrote The Phantom of the Opera in 1910.
    8. Because at the time in which the novel is set, the Opera House employed more than fifteen hundred people and had space to keep a number of white horses under the entranceway,ready for the use of the opera company.
    9.The novel is about an intelligent and very talented but also violent and evil ghost.He does not have place in normal society because he is very ugly,he must wear a mask to cover his awful face, and he must live in the shadows.he tricks Christine and makes her part of his secret life by teaching her to sing more beautifully than anyone else in Paris,but,of course, evil cannot win in the end.
    10. He also wrote stage plays,mostly based on his own books.He wrote for movies and in 1919 he formed his own production company,Cinéromans.

    1.The ladies were talking when a ghost had appeared to them in the shape of a gentleman in fine clothes. He he suddenly stood in front of them in the passage and seem to had came straight through the wall.
    2. The ghost was extraordinarily thin and his coat hangs on his skeleton.His eyes were very deep,just two big, black holes. His nasty yellow skin was tightly stretched across his bones and he didn´t have nose.
    3. Joseph Buquet was in charge of moving scenary. He was a serious man, not one who imagined things.
    4. A series of curious events that nobody could explain made everybody feel uncomfortable after what Joseph Buquet said. Then James cried that there were a ghost. After the first excitement, everything was quiet in the dressing room. Then James told everybody to listened. They could Heard somebody outside the door. Sorelli went up to it and in a shaky voice asked who was there. Nobody answered her, so she opened the door.She looked into the passage but it was empty so she closed the door again.
    5.The ghost was just like Joseph Buquet description.
    6. Joseph Buquet was dead, he was found hanging in the third cellar. His secret was that he had a box in the Opera. The Box Five.
    7. Sorelli was on her way to gave her speech, with all the girls following closely behind, when she ran into Count Changy, who was coming upstairs.
    9. Philippe Georges Marie, Count of Chagny was forty-one, good-looking and wealthy. Raoul was his brother, he was twenty years younger. Their parents had died when Raoul was very Young, so Philippe brought up the Young viscount, who later joined the navy.
    10. Raoul saw Christine fainted at the end of the performance and decide to went to saw her. The doctor was with her, Raoul wanted to stayed there with her so the doctor sent everyone away except Raoul. She din’t know him, she had never seen him before. She asked to him, who was him. He answered her that he was the boy who went into the sea to rescued her scarf.
    11. He listened the conversation and he was surprised when Christine opened the door and there wasn’t nobody in the room. And he was more surprised when he saw Joseph Buquet, who was dead.
